Franciscan Alliance Wins Big With Award for Administrative-to-Enterprise ECM Solution

The Franciscan Alliance health system consists of 14 hospitals in Indiana and Illinois serving a population of 3.7 million people.

At the time of deployment, the system was processing over 150,000 invoices a year across 13 locations by a staff of 24 employees. After centralizing operations into a shared services environment, they were able to reduce the resources required to process the same workload by 37.5% (9 FTE). Beyond just a reduction in resources, Franciscan Alliance has also seen a significant reduction in lost vendor discounts. Combined, these two areas have yielded more than a $1.3 million savings in the first five years of going live with OnBase.
