Fras-le Announces its Results for 2012

CAXIAS DO SUL, Brazil, Feb. 27, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Fras-le S.A., listed on the Sao Paulo Stock Exchange (BM&FBovespa) under ticker symbols FRAS3 and FRAS4, a Randon group company that is Latin America's largest and one of the world's leading manufacturers of friction materials, announces its results for 2012. Except where stated otherwise, the operating and financial information is presented on a consolidated basis and the amounts are expressed in Brazilian reais, in accordance with Brazilian Corporate Law. Comparisons are with 2011 and 2010.

KEY 2012 RESULTS

Total gross revenue before consolidation: R$906.8 million, 20.7% up on 2011 and 30.6% more than in 2010;  
Consolidated net revenue: R$662.8 million, a 21.5% improvement over 2011 and 30.1% growth over 2010;
Net revenue from the domestic market: R$361.1 million, a 22.1% increase over 2011 and 27.9% higher than in 2010;
Net revenue from the foreign market: R$301.6 million, 20.7% more than in 2011 and 32.8% up on 2010;
Fras-le Brasil exports (FOB): US$100.6 million, 12.9% down on 2011 and a 5.8% decrease over 2010;
Sales in foreign markets (exports and units abroad): US$155.7 million, 3.0% up on 2011 and a 20.1% improvement over 2010;
EBITDA: R$84.6 million, 29.7% up on 2011 and 9.9% more than in 2010;
Consolidated gross profit: R$168.3 million, 21.2% more than in 2011 and an 11.4% increase over 2010;
Consolidated net income: R$24.7 million, 43.8% below 2011 and 48.9% less than in 2010.
