Fred T. Gallo Promoted to President, Feature Production Management Worldwide, for Paramount Pictures

    HOLLYWOOD, Nov. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Fred T. Gallo has been promoted to
 president, feature production management worldwide, for the Motion Picture
 Group of Paramount Pictures, it was announced by Michelle Manning, president
 of production for the Motion Picture Group.

     Mr. Gallo's extensive responsibilities will include overseeing the
 worldwide day-to-day aspects of physical production, production finance and
 estimating for Paramount's feature films.  He will continue to report to
 Ms. Manning.

     Mr. Gallo has been involved with over 100 productions for Paramount
 Pictures.  He has been promoted from executive vice president, feature
 production management, where he worked on such films as "Titanic," "Face/Off,"
 "The Truman Show," "The General's Daughter," "Runaway Bride," "Wonder Boys,"
 "M:I-2," "What Women Want," "Save the Last Dance" and "Lara Croft: Tomb
 Raider."  He is currently overseeing production management on Cameron Crowe's
 "Vanilla Sky" starring Tom Cruise, Penelope Cruz and Cameron Diaz to be
 released on December 14th.
     As a senior vice president, feature production management, Mr. Gallo
 worked on hits including "Forest Gump," "Braveheart," "Clueless" and the
 "Brady Bunch Movie."
     Before joining Paramount, Mr. Gallo was the executive producer of "Aspen
 Extreme" following a long-term position as vice president of worldwide
 production at Warner Bros.  During his tenure at Warner, which began in 1980,
 Mr. Gallo was involved in the production of more than 125 features.
     Before that, he either produced or assistant directed such well-known
 films as "Body Heat" (producer), "Going in Style" (producer), "Hide in Plain
 Sight" (associate producer), "Annie Hall" (assistant director and associate
 producer), "The Bad News Bears in Breaking Training" (associate producer) and
 "The Godfather," "Rocky," "Murder by Death," "Sleeper," "Everything You Always
 Wanted to Know About Sex" and "Bananas" (all as assistant director).
