FreedomWorks for America Activists Open a "Get out the Vote" Center for Jeff Landry in LA-03

WASHINGTON, Oct. 2, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The following is being released by FreedomWorks for America:

WHAT: FreedomWorks for America will join activists for the grand opening of the "Get out the Vote" Center in Lafayette, LA to elect Rep. Jeff Landry in the District 3 congressional race, followed by a morning of phone banking and door-to-door outreach.

The center will serve as a meeting place for grassroots activists from across the state to network, strategize, conduct voter-targeted phone banking, and pick up campaign materials for sign waving events and door-to-door outreach.

The ribbon cutting ceremony will be led by FreedomWorks for America COO Ryan Hecker and Joyce Linde , President of the GEAUX FREE Tea Party in Lafayette and FreedomWorks Louisiana Field Director.
