Leading Heavy Metals Lab Changes Name to Reflect Expanding Business
SEATTLE, March 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Frontier GeoSciences announced today that they are changing their name to Frontier Global Sciences. The name change reflects the Company's growing international business as well as the new industries it has embraced over the last several years.
As a leading scientific laboratory, Frontier's specialty has been in the method development and analysis of trace or heavy metals. Frontier's initial focus was on measuring metals in the air, land and soil. Over the last few years, the Company has been called on to apply its specialized techniques in industries including: pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, personal care, and consumer products.
Over the last decade, awareness of the impact toxic metals can have at very low levels over an extended period of time has driven Frontier Global Sciences to develop methods to measure them down to parts per trillion levels. The Company's ultra low-level testing capabilities combined with ever-increasing regulatory considerations are expected to continue to fuel growth.
While Frontier has maintained its focus on trace or heavy metals, the industries it works with and the global expansion of its services led to the decision to change its name, to more accurately reflect what the company represents.
