Frost & Sullivan's Urban Mobility 3.0 - The Future of Urban Mobility Business Models in a Nutshell

LONDON, June 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- One week to go before Frost & Sullivan's two-day interactive workshop Urban Mobility 3.0: New Urban Mobility Business Models will take place at the House of Lords and the Siemens Crystal Building in London. The two-day event will highlight the future of personal and freight mobility, analyse the impact of global Mega Trends on the industry and discuss new emerging business models and ways of working with the 'City as a Customer' concept. Panellists and delegates will also touch upon new initiatives and infrastructure trends as well as urban logistics with a focus on the increasing opportunities with eRetailing.
Starting at 4.00 p.m. in the afternoon of Wednesday, 19th June 2013, the debate at the Houses of Parliament will kick-off with a keynote by Mr. Stephen Hammond MP, Under-Secretary of State for Transport, and a debate chaired by Lord Richard Andrew Rosser, Speaker from the frontbench on Transport and Home Office Teams, which focuses on the Death of the car and rise of new mobility business models in the Urban Environment.
The debate is divided into a 'public' versus a 'personal' transport panel. Richard de Cani from Transport for London (TfL), will be supported by Anthony Smith of Passenger Focus, making up the 'public transport' panel. The opposing 'personal transport' panel will consist of Mr. Robert Henrich, Daimler Mobility Services, Mr. Etienne Henry, Nissan International S.A., Dr. Markus Schramm of BMW AG as well as Mr. Sarwant Singh of Frost & Sullivan.
The day will close with a Future of Mobility Excellence in Best Practices Awards Banquet at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in St. James.
The second day of the workshop on Thursday, 20th June 2013, will commence at 8.45 a.m. at the Siemens Crystal Building in London's Royal Victoria Docks.
