Fuddruckers' Burger Eating Contest to Benefit Pediatrics Foundation

    MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL, April 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Fuddruckers is joining KDWB
 and Next Media to help raise money for the KDWB Family Center.  The St. Louis
 Park Fuddruckers location wants you to put your money where your mouth...and
 appetite are!  A one-pound hamburger eating contest will be held April 22, at
 8:00 PM.  The $15 entrance fee will go directly to the KDWB Family Center.
     The KDWB Family Center was founded to help children living with
 complicated and rare chronic or disabling conditions.  It is supported by KDWB
 Radio, and University Pediatrics Foundation.  Both have pledged more than $2.5
 million to the Center.  "The KDWB Family Center helps meet the needs of
 children and their families when a child is diagnosed with a life-altering
 health problem.  The Center is a place where families can seek comfort and
 support.  Fuddruckers is such a family-oriented place.  We are proud to
 support KDWB in their efforts to support the center," says Sheila Roering,
 Assistant Manager of the St. Louis Park Fuddruckers Restaurant.
     Grand prize for the contest is a two-night stay in a Lake Shore suite at
 Superior Shores Resort in Two Harbors, MN.  Speed counts!  The winner will be
 the first person to completely finish their hamburger.  Other prizes will also
 be awarded.  KDWB Radio will be at the St. Louis Park location from 7:30-
 8:30pm the night of the event.
     Benefits will also be held at all other Twin Cities Fuddruckers locations
 on April 22.  From 4pm until 9pm in Coon Rapids and 10PM at all other
 locations, 15% of the total food and beverage purchase will help fund the KDWB
 Family Center.  A guest must present the benefit night flyer or mention the
 KDWB Family Center for their purchase to qualify.
