Gavarnie Holding LLC, Parent Company of Hawai'i Island Air Appoints Michael Rodyniuk Executive Vice Chairman

HONOLULU, Sept. 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Charles Willis IV, Chairman of Gavarnie Holding LLC (Gavarnie), the parent company of Hawai'i Island Air, doing business as Island Air – one of Hawai'i's most respected regional carriers – announced today the appointment of Michael Rodyniuk to Garvarnie's Board of Directors. Mr. Rodyniuk will assume the position of Executive Vice Chairman of Gavarnie.

"Michael has been active in a consultative role, restructuring the airline since the beginning of July, and has made great strides leading the Island Air team toward developing and implementing a new business model," said Willis. Rodyniuk is a veteran airline executive, having served in executive positions at Swissair's SR Technics, Air Canada's Zip Air, WestJet and Winnipeg Airports Authority. He has also held management positions at United Airlines and American Airlines, and most recently, was Chief Operating Officer of Exchange Income Corporation's aviation segment.
