Geebo.com Announces Partnership with Boys and Girls Club

Geebo.com and Local Youths Team Up to Benefit Area Children

SACRAMENTO, Calif., Aug. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- The Sacramento Boys and Girls
Club Keystone Teens have agreed to select the children's charities that
Geebo.com will support each year, announced Greg Collier, Geebo.com's
 president.
Geebo.com is a local online classified service. A cornerstone of its
creation is to help the community by donating a portion of its profits to
local charities that help children. "Who better to counsel us on the needs of
children than young people," said Collier.
As part of this collaboration the Keystone Teens will be required to
develop selection criteria, create publicity plans to let organizations know
about the program, select which charities to support, and distribute the
funds. "We recognize that today's youths are tomorrow's leaders. This will
give them first-hand experience of the many needs of the community that they
 live in," said Collier.
"I am not aware of any other youth group that advises companies on where
to make their charitable contributions. I don't think anyone ever asked
them," said Jesus Naranjo, Boys and Girls Club Teen Director. "This is a win-
win for both Geebo.com and the teens. Geebo.com gets a perspective of
children's needs from young people and the teens get a chance to develop many
new skills, help their community and become more socially responsible adults."
As part of membership in the National Boys and Girls Club teen group, the
youths are required to perform community service work. The work they do for
Geebo.com will be their contribution. It is anticipated that solicitation for
proposals will begin in late August. For more information visit
