The Big Bang 2012 Awards for excellence in communication, experience creation and media were announced on 21st September in Bangalore. This year it witnessed a record total of 1000 entries from 40 organizations across India in 68 categories.
George P Johnson India has once again established new benchmarks in experience marketing, taking home two awards, comprising Gold & Bronze in the category Media Innovation - Events which grows more competitive every year. The launch of the Lenovo Tablets was conferred Gold for bringing out the ultimate proposition of mobility and extreme multitasking at an aerodrome in Mumbai through engaging stunt sequences using the tablets on bikes, a hummer and a helicopter. The press and media fraternity were awed by this high power and disruptive launch produced by GPJ.
IBM Software Universe 2011 was presented with the bronze for creating an event within an event experience and delivering a unique launch of its smarter city management software - the Intelligent Operations Center (IOC). The launch saw a live UV choreographed theatrical performance where prominent symbols in Mumbai and the citizen's common woes were articulated in a new format that brought out the significance of IOC. This was the 7th year of IBM Software Universe and George P Johnson India has partnered with IBM to take this annual 3-day technology conference to the next level, each year.
