Salon Leau, an upscale salon in Georgetown, will host the event "Cuts For A Cause" and donate profits to help combat cancer and other terminal illnesses afflicting children

WASHINGTON, Nov. 30 /PRNewswire/ --- Salon Leau announced today they are hosting "Cuts For A Cause" on Monday, December 7(th) to raise funds and create positive impact in the fight against childhood terminal diseases. All proceeds from each haircut and or color will be donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Salon Leau has been serving the posh Washington DC set for 2 years. The salon is owned by LoAnn Lai, widely recognized for her innovation in color, cuts and bringing new hair treatments from across the globe back to Washington DC.

"I am so excited to be hosting this event," LoAnn Lai said. "This will be an opportunity for men and women to come in for a cut or color while knowing 100% of the proceeds will be donated to help children afflicted with terminal illnesses. "Cuts For A Cause" will take place on December 7(th) from 11-4 at Salon Leau in Georgetown. Attendees are strongly encouraged to make appointments. While getting hair services guests can mingle, enjoy wonderful hors d'oeuvres and beverages from the Vietnamese restaurant Four Sisters and listen to a local DJ spin. People who do not have hair appointments are encouraged to stop by and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere. The salon is nestled in a restored Georgetown row home and has been featured in Elle Magazine's Top 100 salons in 2008 and 2009.
