DALLAS, Oct. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Public relations professionals are often
looking for ways to "breathe new life" into their day-to-day communications
activities. The CPR2 vendor fair on October 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at
Cityplace conference center will help them do just that.
CPR2, which stands for Communications Products & Resources Conference for
Public Relations, combines the October monthly PRSA luncheon with a day-long
vendor fair designed to provide public relations professionals with access to
a variety of services that impact the work of a PR professional. Vendors
include: Bacon's Information, Corporate Communications, Edelman Public
Relations, Luce Press Clippings, OMM Productions, Perlman Promotions, Pizazz
Productions, PR Newswire, Texas Press Clipping Bureau, Video Public Relations,
Women in Communications and Xpedite Systems.
"This program provides us with the wonderful opportunity to present our
members with a variety of services that will enhance their day-to-day public
relations activities," said North Texas Chapter PRSA President Barbara Hyman,
APR. "I hope this vendor fair will furnish new resources to our members, as
well as inspire them with new ways to serve their clients."
PRSA's monthly luncheon, which will take place at 11:30 a.m. at Cityplace,
will also benefit PR professionals, as featured speaker Derek Farley of
PR Newswire addresses issues such as journalist's use of the Internet, product
pitching, Internet audio/video use and more. The luncheon is $20 for PRSA
members and $25 for non-members. Attending the CPR2 event alone is free.
Reservations may be made by calling metro 817-858-6088.
