NEW YORK, Nov. 1, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- GetIntent, a disruptive global provider of programmatic advertising software solutions, announced today the appointment of Sam Bell as the new Head of Business Development and Strategy. In his new role, Bell will be responsible for driving GetIntent's overall market strategy to develop new business opportunities and revenue streams for RTBSuite, reinforcing its presence as a category leader for ad tech software solutions.
Bell was most recently the SVP of Partnerships at Adomik, where he oversaw all commercial and non-commercial strategic partnerships with ad exchanges and media sellers for the provider of programmatic ad analytics and yield optimization technology. Prior to Adomik, Bell was General Manager of Global Demand at Smaato, VP Business Development at OpenX, VP Business Development at Spot Runner, and Director, Business Development at Nielsen eMedia.
"Sam has a tremendous track record of successfully building new businesses for ad tech and SaaS companies, intimately engaging with both the market and internal sales as well as the engineering and product teams. With 20 years of digital advertising and media experience, along with a decade of working on automated advertising solutions, he deeply understands the opportunities and challenges surrounding new advertising models and technologies, especially as they relate to the programmatic marketplace. We're very excited to have his confidence and business acumen within our ranks," said George Levin, co-founder and CEO of GetIntent. "As we continue to grow globally, it is essential that we have the right people that radiate success and determination. There is no doubt that our revolutionary RTBSuite product will improve and flourish under Sam's leadership in the U.S. market and around the world."
RTBSuite is the company's flagship product, which allows businesses to seamlessly deploy customized DSP, SSP, DMP and header bidding solutions, reducing both the time-to-market and start-up costs associated with developing a programmatic platform. GetIntent's innovative products, all built on top of RTBSuite, provide increased transparency, revenue and control while reducing data leakage and costs. Each custom solution can be hosted by GetIntent or on the client's choice of infrastructure.
"Programmatic advertising is more mainstream than ever, so now's the time for both advertisers and media sellers to take control of their own destiny by not just owning, but possessing their data and technology," said Sam Bell, Head of Business Development and Strategy of GetIntent. "I look forward to helping companies on both sides of the ecosystem get closer to each other and increase trust and also reduce the costs of transacting, and in particular, minimizing the ad tech tax. I'm delighted to be a part of the extremely innovative GetIntent team that has the products, people and technological expertise to make this happen."
