Glenn Tilton, Chairman, President and CEO of UAL Corporation to Address The Executives' Club of Chicago
CHICAGO, Dec. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Glenn Tilton, Chairman, President and CEO of UAL Corporation and Chairman and CEO of United Airlines, its principal subsidiary company, will address the members and guests of The Executives' Club of Chicago at its December 16, 2009 Global Leaders Luncheon. Mr. Tilton will speak on "The Airline Industry and the Global Economy."
United and United Express operate more than 3,300 daily scheduled flights on a route network that spans the globe and employs approximately 47,000 men and women. Prior to joining United in September 2002, Mr. Tilton was Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of ChevronTexaco, as well as Interim Chairman of Dynegy Inc. Previously, he served as Chairman of the Board and CEO of Texaco Inc., a position he assumed in February 2001. Mr. Tilton is a board member of The Executives' Club of Chicago.
The program will be held at the Hyatt Regency Chicago in the Regency Ballroom, B-D, Gold Level, West Tower. A networking reception will take place at 11:45 a.m., with the luncheon at 12:30 p.m. The cost to attend is $57.50 for Executives' Club members; $78.50 for non-members.
The program will be preceded by the Club's Technology Conference, "Translating Washington's Agenda to Chicago." The Conference will feature a panel discussion with Aneesh Chopra, Chief Technology Officer & Associate Director for Technology, Office of Science & Technology Policy, Executive Office of the President; Stephen F. Hamman, Vice President of Network Management, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois; Gerard M. Mooney, General Manager of Global Government and Education, IBM Corporation; and Gregory Wass, Chief Information Officer, State of Illinois. The panel will be moderated by Bryan Gruley, Chicago Bureau Chief for the Wall Street Journal.
The Technology Conference will take place from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at the Hyatt Regency Chicago in the Regency Ballroom, A, Gold Level, West Tower. The cost to attend is $100 for Executives' Club members; $150 for non-members.
