"Global Data Financial Calendar" English Version Launch

The English language product will provide overseas investors with a rich range of timely macro-financial data, in an effort to offer better services to hexun.com's overseas users.

The English web pages will follow the Chinese version's function and format which was officially launched by hexun.com on Jan 24th 2011. Global Data Financial Calendar English version uses a "country data plus graphic display" format; users can easily switch between different major global economic entities.

Rich database information enables users to view current and historical data of all economic indexes, so that users get a full picture of the macro operating conditions of a certain economic entity. The calendar covers 10 global major economic entities, like China, America, Japan, EU, Canada, and recent rapidly developing BRIC countries, it can achieve the goal of processing data queries as well as viewing the graphic display on the same page. 

Compare the same data between different countries

When comparing the same data between different countries the service allows users to easily access the information they want and freely select or deselect countries for comparison.

Users will only need to give their mouse one simple click to obtain the horizontal comparison of different countries and economic entities, the difference of economic development between those entities will be seen at one glance. For example, if you want to analyse the recent two years' GDP trend correlation between China and USA, you can simply tick "USA" option in graphic and "China quarterly GDP growth", then both countries' GDP trend graphics will be superimposed on one graphic.

Diverse graphic display

Histogram graphic enriched display format is used for data comparison, making the process more intuitive.

When concerning data display, the calendar not only prepares users with the most common line graph, but also histograms to meet users' different needs. A diverse graphic display enriches comparison work, making the process more intuitive.

More detailed data points

Apart from the data points, the line graph automatically adds comparison countries and relevant data currency information. When moving the mouse close to a data point, a floating window will pop out with information of "country", "period of time", "value". When undertaking comparison, data points will be shown in different colours. Default data is shown in red, the added value will be shown in blue, green, orange, and purple, etc.

Time-based querying

Users can select specific time periods to display data graphically. Beginning and ending date can be freely selected according to users' need. The default time period is the most recent year.

One key display

Users are provided with a code extraction function. By clicking on "Copy Code", source code of the graphic they are viewing is automatically copied.

This function will enable users to add the graphic they are viewing to their own website, blog or research papers without difficulty.
