MCKINNEY, Texas, Aug. 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Globe Life And Accident Insurance Company has signed an agreement with FC Dallas, a Major League Soccer (MLS) team that includes sponsoring the organization's Special Olympics team. Globe Life's VP of Marketing, Corey A. Some of the non-game activities the Olympians will experience include try outs, a signing day where each player signs an FC Dallas contract with owner Dan Hunt, team practices, a meet and greet with FC Dallas players, and a trip to Los Angeles.
The FC Dallas Special Olympics team will play the LA Galaxy Special Olympics team in Frisco, Texas at Toyota Stadium on August 15th, 2015. The teams will play each other again in Los Angeles on September 26th, 2015 at StubHub Center.
As part of the agreement, Globe Life is also sponsoring five FC Dallas Community Soccer Clinics for children and a new #HaveABall program that involves impromptu player appearances and pick up soccer games throughout the community.
