Glory Foods Makes It Fresh New Produce Division to Market Fresh Packaged Greens And

Fresh-Cut Sweet Potatoes



    COLUMBUS, Ohio, Nov. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Glory Foods has created an in-house
 Fresh Produce Division to market premium selections of wholesome, washed and
 ready-to-cook, freshly packaged greens (Collard, Mustard and Turnip) and
 fresh-cut sweet potatoes.  The fresh packaged vegetables will offer Glory
 Foods' signature convenience in preparation and provide products high in
 natural nutrients.

     The new division will offer washed and ready-to-cook, peeled chunks of
 Glory Foods Sweet Potatoes ideal for preparing casseroles and pies, or easily
 steamed, baked or fried for a great side dish.  The fresh cut greens will
 feature washed and ready-to-cook Collard, Mustard, and Turnip Greens.  The
 division will offer retailers and consumers outstanding advantages in the sale
 and consumption of the fresh products.  The close proximity of the farms to
 the processing facilities will ensure higher quality product in terms of
 color, flavor and longer shelf life.  Glory Foods' Hot Sauce, Peppered
 Vinegar, Corn Muffin and Corn Bread Mixes will also be positioned as
 complementary condiments used to enhance enjoyment of fresh packaged
 vegetables.
     Production partnerships formed with farmers in the early stages of the
 company's development will expand to include a diverse network of family owned
 farms equipped to meet the production demands of the new division.  "By
