DALLAS, March 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Greyhound Lines, Inc. today announced
it is dropping fares to select cities while making strides to improve the
customer travel experience. Greyhound passengers in select cities can take
advantage of new lower fares while riding newly refurbished buses and
visiting renovated terminals. These changes are part of the "Elevate
Everything" program designed to improve the entire customer travel
experience, which the company continues to implement at major locations
 across the country.
"Greyhound has a long history of providing affordable travel," said
Steve Gorman, president and CEO, Greyhound. "In a time of increasingly
expensive travel costs, we are continuing our tradition of low-cost,
convenient transportation. At the same time, we are working hard to make
sure our customers enjoy their travel experience with Greyhound by
 improving every customer touch point."
The "Elevate Everything" program, launching in the Midwest today and
featured at more than 50 additional Greyhound locations nationwide,
includes newly refurbished and clean buses, terminal upgrades, new employee
uniforms, enhanced customer service and a new greeter position to help
customers with questions. According to Gorman, the entire system is
expected to see these improvements by this Thanksgiving.
