Greyhound Offers to Take Care of All Customers Holding Tickets for Select Bus Companies No Longer in Service Along the Eastern United States Special $1 fare is valid for travel between June 1 and June 16 on tickets purchased prior to May 31

DALLAS, May 31, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Greyhound today announced it is offering a special $1 one-way fare to those customers who purchased tickets on other bus carriers that were closed by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). In addition, Peter Pan Bus Lines and Adirondack Trailways are partnering with Greyhound to offer this same fare special on select routes in the Northeast.

The fares are valid for travel any time between June 1 and June 16, and are only for customers who purchased tickets prior to May 31 with affected carriers listed on the FMCSA's website at http://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/documents/about/news/2012/i95-motorcoach-company-fact-sheet.pdf.  Customers will need to bring their ticket and proof of purchase with them to any Greyhound terminal to receive the fare.
