Group 1 Releases PAVE-Certified MailStream Plus 6.3

    LANHAM, Md., Dec. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Group 1 Software (Nasdaq:   GSOF)
 announced today the release of MailStream Plus 6.3, its state-of-the-art
 Presort Accuracy, Validation and Evaluation (PAVE)-certified software
 solution.  Certified by the United States Postal Service (USPS), MailStream
 Plus offers companies the most powerful software product to presort mail for
 the highest attainable postal discounts.

     Group 1's Manifest Reporting Plus, a complementary product to MailStream
 Plus, has been validated for the Manifest Analysis Certification (MAC) program
 for batch processing. Manifest Reporting Plus enables mailers to combine mail
 pieces of identical or different weights and rates into a single mailing. MAC
 certification eases the acceptance of manifest mailings by the USPS.  Thereby
 mailers and the USPS are assured that manifest mailings are prepared in
 accordance with postal service regulations.
