Jun 28, 2004, 01:00 ET from GTM Architects

BETHESDA, Md., June 28 /PRNewswire/ -- GTM Architects, a full service,
award winning architectural and design firm, announced today that the company
has expanded to a 10,000 square foot office space, located in Bethesda, MD.
The firm's new modern workplace was designed with environmentally friendly
attributes and was constructed to enhance workplace communication and
collaboration, as well as to showcase the firm's diversity and design
 excellence.
From its roots in a small basement office, to a converted farmhouse, to
their new modern offices, GTM Architects has always transcended the
traditional. In 1989, the firm's founder, George Myers, established GTM in
his Silver Spring basement. With a commitment to excellence in design and
client service, the firm quickly outgrew its original space and, in 1993,
moved to a 5,000 square foot converted farmhouse in historic Kensington,
Maryland. Eleven years later, GTM is moving again to accommodate the firm's
 growth and diverse client roster.
"I am extremely excited about GTM Architects' move and expansion, which
has been made possible thanks to the hard work and excellence of the entire
GTM team," said George Myers, founder of GTM Architects. "We're all looking
forward to the opportunity to work in an atmosphere that was designed with
GTM's dedication to collaboration in mind. GTM plans to continue producing
innovative architecture at this new home for many years to come."
Located at 7735 Old Georgetown Road, in Bethesda, MD, the new GTM offices
are designed to reinforce both organizational culture and brand identity.
This allows the firm to inspire employees, delight customers, and accommodate
growth and adaptability. The space responds to changing business needs with
solutions that are livable, flexible, sustainable, and highly productive.
2004 also marks the 15-Year anniversary of GTM Architects' service to the
Washington D.C. area. With almost 50 employees and over 250 completed
projects, GTM's team of architects and designers has a depth of expertise in a
wide array of industry sectors, including commercial, corporate, single and
multi-family residential, historic preservation, healthcare, hospitality,
retail, educational, and tennis facility architecture and design.
