AUBURN HILLS, Mich., May 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Guardian Industries Corp. today
announced the appointment of D. James Davis as president and CEO of its
Automotive Products Group. In this position, Davis will lead Guardian's
vehicle glass and exterior trim business. William Davidson, president and CEO
of Guardian Industries Corp., made the announcement.

Prior to joining Guardian Industries, Davis was president for the Americas
of TI Automotive, a tier one manufacturer of fluid delivery systems. His
professional background includes a variety of key leadership positions,
including president of Glacier-Vandervell Inc. and several senior operational
posts during a fifteen-year career with Federal Mogul Corporation. Davis is a
graduate of the University of Cincinnati and resides in Northville, Mich.,
with his wife Debbie. They have two grown children, Jeff and Andy.
