Haggar(R) and Sears(R) Launch Apparel Line This Father's Day

New Introduction Combines Two of the Most Trusted Names

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. and DALLAS, May 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Haggar Clothing Company announced the launch of a new collection today that includes a line of casual and dress apparel that will appear in Sears stores across the country, beginning June 1st. The new apparel initiative will bring popular styles that are both on-trend and affordable to a key, shared customer.

Both Haggar and Sears have a history of being originators. Founded in 1926, Haggar Clothing Co. has established many firsts in the apparel industry, including - first to coin the term "slacks", first to produce pre-cuffed pants, and first to offer wash-and-wear slacks.

The addition of the iconic brand strengthens the Sears strategy of bringing the most trusted and category relevant brands to their assortments.

The new casual product collection from Haggar will debut in 843 Sears stores nationwide, arriving on Sears selling floor in time for Father's Day. Collections will also be available on Sears.com by mid-June.

Brand offerings will include suit separates, casual pant and dress pant product collections. Sale prices will range from $24.98 - $34.99 for casual pants to $29.99 - $39.99 for dress pants and suit separates @ $139.99.

Marketing initiatives to support the launch will include print and online advertising, accompanied by in store POS.
