HaloPure® technology is well suited for low-cost, point-of-use (PoU) water purification applications. It is typically deployed in a cartridge along with appropriate pre-filtration technology and provides the benefits of primary disinfection, safe water storage, and biofilm inhibition. Various sizes of HaloPure® cartridges can provide gravity-fed disinfection and may also be used in combination with almost all other commonly used treatment technologies in faster-flowing product applications. This patented technology uses common halogens – chlorine or bromine – that have the potential to safely enhance drinking water treatment systems.

The technology in HaloPure® is effective against a wide range of germs. It is designed to ensure disease causing bacteria and viruses are killed on contact without releasing  chemicals into drinking water.
