sausage as a lunch or dinner meal choice, Hardee's is offering diners the
chance to satisfy their cravings in the morning. The premium Hillshire
Farm(R) link gained such a following in past years that customer demand led
Hardee's to bring it back for a limited time.
The Smoked Sausage Biscuit is made using a split Hillshire Farm (R)
smoked sausage link tucked inside a steaming-hot Made From Scratch Biscuit.
In Hardee's Midwestern restaurants, a folded egg and a slice of American
cheese are added as well.
"Ever since Hardee's became the first fast-food chain in America to
serve Made From Scratch buttermilk biscuits over 30 years ago, we have
always searched for ingredients with comparable quality that would provide
an ideal match," said Brad Haley, Hardee's executive vice president of

The Smoked Sausage Biscuit will be sold at participating Hardee's
restaurants for $1.99 and is available in a small combo for $3.49 including
hash rounds and a beverage. The Smoked Sausage Biscuit with Egg & Cheese
will be sold in Midwest Hardee's restaurants for $2.49 or $3.99 for the
small combo. Prices may vary.
In addition to bringing back the Smoked Sausage Biscuit in the morning,
Hardee's is also offering diners two quality fish options during the Lenten
season. The Fish Supreme Sandwich features a crispy beer-battered premium
cod fish fillet, a slice of American cheese, iceberg lettuce and tartar
sauce on a buttered, toasted honey-wheat bun. The Fish 'N' Chips Basket
includes two beer-battered cod fish fillets, Natural Cut French Fries and
tartar sauce. The suggested retail price for the Fish Supreme Sandwich is
$2.99 and $4.99 for the Fish 'N' Chips Basket. Prices may vary.
