Harlem Elected Officials Come Out To Support Democracy Prep Public Charter School

    NEW YORK, Jan. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Democracy Prep Charter School, one of
 the final charter schools to be approved under the current statewide cap, has
 received the public support of several prominent members of the Harlem
 delegation.
     The new school will be hosting its first public event on Thursday, January
 26th, with a private reception for elected officials and trustees at 5:45PM
 and a "friendraiser" at 6:30PM at 300 West 135th Street, Strivers Gardens.
     The following individuals will be honored for their early support of
 Democracy Prep Award with the first annual Public Leadership Award:

      State Assemblyman Keith L.T. Wright
      Borough President Scott Stringer
