Haynes Manuals, Inc. Retains JMPR Public Relations for Media Relations Efforts

    WOODLAND HILLS, Calif., Sept. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Haynes Manuals, Inc., a
 subsidiary within the Haynes Publishing Group P.L.C., has contracted JMPR
 Public Relations for a variety of media and public relations programs
 promoting its North American operations.  Haynes Manuals, Inc. markets vehicle
 repair manuals designed for owners and DIYers to help them make repairs and
 handle maintenance.
     Haynes Manuals produces and distributes detailed instruction manuals for
 almost every make and model of car sold.  These manuals explain the inner
 workings of each vehicle, helping the enthusiast and non-enthusiast to better
 understand their car.  To accomplish this, Haynes' master mechanics
 disassemble each vehicle, carefully notating each part, and then put it back
 together again.
     Its manuals, which are marketed in the U.S. in both English and Spanish
 language editions, also include a line of Xtreme manuals that show automotive
 enthusiasts how to customize and optimize the performance of their vehicles.
     JMPR's special projects and initial media outreach efforts will include
 developing press materials and strategic plans to promote the Haynes Manuals'
 brands, targeting auto DIYers, general DIYers and potential DIYers.  The
 agency will also develop and implement creative PR campaigns around the
 company's newest manuals and help to broaden its consumer reach outside
 traditional automotive channels.
