Heineken USA Pledges Minimum of $250,000 to Hurricane Katrina Relief Efforts

    WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., Sept. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Heineken USA Inc. said today
 that it has committed at least $250,000 to Hurricane Katrina relief efforts.
 These funds represent a joint contribution by Heineken USA and its parent
 company, Heineken International (Netherlands).  These funds will be used to
 assist in meeting the immediate and longer-term needs of its own employees,
 those of our distributors and their respective families in Louisiana and
 Mississippi who have been impacted by the Hurricane.  The remaining funds will
 be donated to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief effort.
