Furthermore, each profile explains what makes the e-retailer hot, such as alluring website design, providing useful and compelling online content, generating enviable mobile commerce sales or deploying outstanding omnichannel initiatives—all valuable lessons that other web and multichannel merchants can emulate. Profiles also include key data on each retailer, such as its online sales and website traffic as well as performance metrics such as site response time. Additionally, the Hot 100 lists solutions providers across 30 different categories—vital behind-the-scenes players that have helped boost their e-retail clients into such an elite ranking.
