-Box office opens February 18-

NEW YORK, Feb. 16 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- His Holiness the Dalai Lama will visit New York City, May 20 – 23, 2010.  Jointly hosted by Healing the Divide and The Tibet Center, the Dalai Lama's main activities will include a public talk and three days of Buddhist teachings, both at Radio City Music Hall.  

Thursday, May 20 to Saturday, May 22, 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. daily:  His Holiness the Dalai Lama will teach for three days on two profound Buddhist texts on the way to develop compassion:  Shantideva's Guide to the Bodhisattva Way of Life and Nagarjuna's Commentary on Bodhicitta. Sunday, May 23, 1:00 – 2:30 p.m.:  At this public talk, His Holiness the Dalai Lama will speak on Awakening the Heart of Selflessness and discuss the process of realizing true selflessness and how this realization awakens a genuine caring for others. Public Talk tickets go on sale March 18.
