HARRISBURG, Pa., Aug. 7, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Holly Petraeus, widely known for her work strengthening consumer financial protection for members of the armed forces, will host a town hall meeting during the "Making $ense of Finance" conference in Erie on Saturday, August 22, 2015.

The conference is designed specifically towards addressing the financial and investing challenges faced by members of the military and veterans. The conference will be held at the Zem-Zem Shrine, 2525 West 38th Street in Erie, from 10:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.

During the town hall meeting, she will highlight some of the top consumer financial issues facing servicemembers and their families and the work she is leading to strengthen consumer financial protection efforts for the military community.  She will take questions from registered participants.

"I'm pleased to be joining with the PA Military Finance Alliance in delivering much-needed financial information to the men and woman of our armed services," Petraeus said.
