
Homeward Residential Defines Path Forward With New Brand Identity and Diversified Business Strategy
~ New Branding Underscores Strategy to Become Full-Service Mortgage Bank ~
DALLAS, May 29, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Homeward Residential, Inc., a full-service mortgage banking organization, today announced the official launch of its new brand name and identity in support of its business diversification strategy. Previously known as American Home Mortgage Servicing, Inc. (AHMSI), the name Homeward Residential better reflects the company's full suite of service offerings, which today includes correspondent and warehouse lending operations, residential loan servicing (including sub-servicing and special servicing), loan settlement services, home valuation products, real estate-owned (REO) management and asset management consulting. The company also plans to offer consumer direct mortgage lending services in the near future.
The Company's transformation began in November of 2010, with the appointment of David Applegate as CEO, followed by the expansion of service offerings, the recruitment of additional leadership talent and the rebranding initiative to better reflect the Company's overall strategy and portfolio of products.
