Houston-based Green's Blue Flame Joins Alliance AutoGas to Provide Propane Vehicle Conversions and Fueling in Texas
HOUSTON, Nov. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Houston, TX-based propane retailer Green's Blue Flame has joined national alternative fuel vehicle conversion and fueling network Alliance AutoGas. As an Alliance AutoGas partner, Green's Blue Flame will work with Texas' public and private vehicle fleets to convert vehicles from conventional gasoline to propane AutoGas - a cleaner, less expensive and almost entirely domestic alternative vehicle fuel. Propane AutoGas is the most widely used alternative vehicle fuel in the world.
Alliance AutoGas provides America's fleets with a truly turn-key alternative fuel solution that includes:
- Vehicle conversion equipment and labor
- Fueling station on-site at fleet base
- Safety and operational training for fleet personnel
- Year-round fuel provision
- Ongoing technical support
Green's Blue Flame Gas Company is a locally owned and operated company that has been serving the City of Houston and surrounding areas since 1967.
"We're excited to join as an Alliance AutoGas partner," says Joe Green, owner of Green's Blue Flame. "Houston's taxi, police and municipal fleets will benefit tremendously from converting to propane vehicles, because they'll save money on fuel costs while significantly reducing their greenhouse gas emissions."
Green's Blue Flame will work with Alliance AutoGas to provide an integrated chain of vehicle conversions, clean fueling stations at fleet home bases, year-round fuel supply and safety & technical support.
Ideal candidates for propane conversion include taxis, law enforcement and municipal vehicles, limousines, utility company vehicles and many others.
Fleets that convert to propane AutoGas can expect:
- Lower fuel costs
- Significantly reduced greenhouse gas emissions
- Less dependence on foreign oil (90% of propane is produced in the U.S.)
- Ability to integrate positive green messaging into their communications
Green's Blue Flame and Alliance AutoGas will immediately begin discussions with Houston-based and regional vehicle fleets interested in converting vehicles to propane AutoGas.
