HowStuffWorks.com 'Stuff to Rattle Your Brain' App Now Available on App Store
Seriously Smart App for iPhone and iPod Touch Reveals the Answers to Curious Questions
ATLANTA, Dec. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Already known for its entertaining and educational articles, videos and quizzes, HowStuffWorks.com today announced that the Stuff to Rattle Your Brain App is available for free from the App Store.
The app enables iPhone or iPod touch users to tune in instead of zone out while passing time. With just a shake of the device, players select from "20 Random Questions," "Keep Going 'til I'm Wrong" or "Practice, Practice, Practice." Players can then choose from over a dozen categories, covering everything from sports trivia to geography, all drawn from HowStuffWorks.com's award-winning content.
"The Stuff to Rattle Your Brain App is the first of several seriously smart apps we are developing as part of our broader mobile strategy to help people engage their minds in a fun, offbeat way while using their beloved iPhone or iPod touch," said Kathryn Kelly, VP of Media and Marketing for HowStuffWorks.com. "Our popular podcasts already offer compelling and enlightening programming to users' devices. We are delivering an app that will entertain consumers while fulfilling our mission to make everyone just a little bit smarter."
Building on the success of the site's highly popular podcasts, which include "Stuff You Should Know" and "Stuff You Missed in History Class," HowStuffWorks.com is entering the mobile realm with interactive trivia. The Stuff to Rattle Your Brain App was developed through a partnership with CUBiC Digital, a company that designs, develops and delivers mobile content and applications.
