Humana Adds Florida Hospital's Memorial Division Facilities to Its Hospital Network

Adventist hospitals strengthen Humana's network for Medicare and commercial

    ORMOND BEACH, Fla., March 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Humana Inc. (NYSE:   HUM)
 announced today that it has signed an agreement with Adventist Health
 System/Sunbelt, Inc., which will allow Humana Medicare and commercial members
 to receive medical services at its three Florida Hospital Memorial Division
 facilities in East Volusia and Flagler counties.
     The agreement will provide access to inpatient, outpatient, and emergency
 services at Florida Hospital Ormond Memorial and Florida Hospital Oceanside in
 Ormond Beach and Florida Hospital Flagler in Palm Coast for members of
 Humana's Medicare product effective April 1, 2004, and for the members of its
 commercial product effective June 1, 2004.
     "This agreement is an important step in our continued commitment to
 provide Humana's Medicare and commercial members in East Volusia and Flagler
 counties with choice and access to an extensive network of hospitals close to
 where they live and work," said Scott Latimer, region vice president of senior
 products of Humana in Central Florida.  "Florida Hospital facilities provide a
 wide range of services that we are proud to offer to our Medicare and
 commercial members."
