ID Edge Donates Security Credentials to LPGA Solheim Cup
LOUISVILLE, Colo., July 25, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Local security company, ID Edge, is helping to secure the Solheim Cup by donating event credentials to the LPGA. The Solheim Cup takes place August 13-18, 2013 at the Colorado Golf Club in Parker, CO. With many guests from all over the world coming to Colorado this year to participate in the biennial event, keeping everyone secure is of utmost importance.
ID Edge is donating the supplies to pre-print credentials for all of the volunteers, vendors, media, etc. who will be attending the weeklong event. ID Edge will be printing over 6,000 credentials with three Magicard Rio Pro Xtended card printers prior to the event. Magicard is loaning the printers to ID Edge to print this large volume of extended credentials.
Each credential will be given to the appropriate personnel to provide visual security during the event. With thousands of attendees, it is important to provide visual security in order to be able to distinguish who has the proper clearance to be in certain areas. The credentials will also provide guests the ability to quickly recognize first aid and volunteers who can offer assistance and information.
The LPGA contacted ID Edge about providing them with the security credentials for the Solheim Cup. ID Edge is happy to donate the time and supplies necessary to print the security credentials and train volunteers on how to operate the equipment. ID Edge will be on-site during the tournament to support the volunteers and event staff with printing any last minute credentials.
