NEW YORK, Dec. 4 /PRNewswire/ --Ilene Gordon, chairman, president, and CEO of Corn Products International Company, has been elected to the board of trustees of The Conference Board, the global business research and membership association. The role of the board of trustees is comparable to that of a board of directors in for-profit companies.

Douglas R. Conant, president and CEO, Campbell Soup Company, was re-elected chairman of the board of trustees.

The vice chairmen, serving for a term of one year, include: Josef Ackermann, chairman of the management board and the group executive committee, Deutsche Bank AG; Alan M. Dachs, president and CEO, Fremont Group, L.L.C.; Harry M. Jansen Kraemer, Jr., executive partner, Madison Dearborn; and Ronald A. Williams, chairman of the board and CEO, Aetna Inc.

Also re-elected to the board of trustees: Francisco Gonzalez Rodriguez, Chairman and CEO, BBVA; Lim Chee Onn, Chairman, Singbridge International Pte Ltd.; Padraig McManus, CEO, Electricity Supply Board; Michael Roach, president and CEO, CGI Group Inc.; and Hans Wijers, chairman, board of management, Akzo Nobel nv.
