Ilitch Holdings, Inc. Announces New Hire and Promotion Steve Marquardt Named Vice President of Olympia Development and John Hahn Promoted to Vice President of Corporate Communications at Ilitch Holdings, Inc.
DETROIT, Sept. 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Christopher Ilitch, President and CEO of Ilitch Holdings, Inc. announced today veteran real estate development and management executive Steve Marquardt has been named Vice President of Olympia Development of Michigan and John Hahn, former Senior Director of Communications for the Detroit Red Wings, has been named Vice President of Corporate Communications at Ilitch Holdings, Inc. Both appointments are effective September 30, 2013.
Marquardt brings 25 years of industry experience in development and management of global real estate portfolios to his role at Olympia Development of Michigan. He most recently was Vice President of Real Estate, Facilities and Administration at Compuware where he managed 100 properties in 35 countries and led the design, construction and leasing of the $400 million, 1 million square foot headquarters building in downtown Detroit and the subsequent development of Campus Martius Park. Prior to Compuware, Marquardt was Director of Facilities for Michigan Head Pain and Neurological Institute in Ann Arbor where he tripled the organization's real estate footprint and led human resources, finance and IT functions.

Hahn brings 29 years of public relations experience, including 16 with various Ilitch companies, to his new role as Vice President of Corporate Communications at Ilitch Holdings. As Senior Director of Communications for the Detroit Red Wings, he managed communications and community relations activities for the team through three Stanley Cup Championships, as well as serving dual roles at the Detroit Tigers in 2001 and Olympia Development in 2013.
