Immersion Consulting Wins Navy 2013 Travel Card Program Award
ANNAPOLIS, Md., Jan. 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Immersion Consulting, a business management and technology consulting firm with headquarters in Annapolis, is pleased to announce that Immersion was awarded the Department of Navy's 2013 Agency Program Coordinator of the Year Award for Immersion's outstanding Defense Travel System (DTS) support for Commander, United States Pacific Fleet Headquarters, Submarine Force, United States Pacific Fleet (COMSUBPAC). Immersion's DTS team was selected as the Program Management and Sustainment Team of the Year for 2013 by Navy's Consolidated Card Program Management Division (DON CCPMD).
Immersion's DTS team was recognized for their efforts in helping COMSUBPAC achieve one of the lowest credit card delinquency rates in the Navy. In addition, Immersion and COMSUBPAC implemented an innovative internal operations plan that saved the agency over $10 million from FY 2010 - FY 2013.
