Industrial Asset Management Firm Appoints New NE Regional Manager
PHILADELPHIA, April 26, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Stuart B. Millner & Associates (SBMA), which manages liquidation of assets during and after industrial plant closings, has appointed Sharon Berry as the Executive Director of Northeast Sales at SBMA's new Chester Springs, PA office.
Berry will be directing business operations from the new office (at 1218 Kimberton Rd.), which opened in early March of this year.
With over 20 years of experience in auctions and liquidations, Berry will be at the forefront in managing asset liquidation for manufacturing plant closings in the northeast United States.
In addition to a proven track in business development, account management, equipment sales and project management, Berry has a wealth of knowledge in business and project management. She studied business at Webster University in St. Louis, MO, and is pursuing a certificate in project management.
With Berry's appointment, SBMA is able to extend its operations and expertise in the Northeast. From its main office near St. Louis, MO, the company has managed assets from 1,500 plant closings worldwide.
SBMA curently has 46 employees. Established in 1981, it has sold $1 billion in assets for its clients. The company was appointed by George H.W. Bush to a special commission to advise the governments of Hungary and Poland in the deactivation of plants there closed by privatization. SBMA was also the co-creator of the asset recovery plan implemented by General Motors in the late 1990s, and is still in use today.
