Industrias Bachoco Announces Filing of Form 20-F/A with the SEC

CELAYA, GTO., Mexico, July 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Industrias Bachoco S.A.B. de C.V. ("Bachoco" or "the Company") (NYSE: IBA; BMV: Bachoco B) today filed a partial Annual Report on Form 20-F/A for the year ended December 31, 2008 (the "2008 20-F/A") with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the "SEC"), along with a Form 12b-25 notifying the SEC of the late filing of certain portions of the document.

    The 2008 20-F/A omits the following:
      a.)  Note 21 to Item 18;
      b.)  the Attestation Report of the Company's Registered Public
           Accounting Firm;
      c.)  the Report of the Company's Independent Registered Public
           Accounting Firms; and
      d.)  the discussion of the reconciliation of Mexican FRS to US GAAP in
           Item 5: "Operating and Financial Review and Prospects", A.
           "Operating Results."

The 2008 20-F/A was issued for information purposes only since a similar document was delivered to Mexican trade authorities.

The Company is working diligently with its external auditors to finalize the disclosure and complete all other actions required and expects to file its complete 2008 20-F/A no later than July 15, 2009.
