today announced that industry veteran Edwin Grogan, former senior vice
president and chief technology officer at JP Morgan Chase, has joined its
Advisory Board. As a member of the Advisory Board, Grogan will help shape
the company's strategy in addressing the information technology challenges
that organizations face when managing, protecting, and leveraging their
directory services. Grogan will also serve on the Advisory Board of the
Blackbird Group's strategic investment arm, Blackbird Ventures.
A veteran senior executive, Grogan brings more than 25 years of direct
experience in building and managing complex information-technology
environments for Fortune 100 companies including JP Morgan Chase and AOL
Time Warner. Grogan currently serves as Chief Technology Officer at
RampRate Sourcing Advisors and Research, a leading authority on Information
Technology Outsourcing Services. At RampRate, Grogan drives the vision and
strategy for the RampRate's market intelligence system, called the Service
Provider Index or known by the SPY Index. Grogan also heads up the Client
Engagement function at RampRate which provides the delivery capability for
sourcing, advisory, benchmarking and research services to RampRate clients.
Prior to RampRate, Grogan co-founded and served as managing partner for New
London Associates, a New York-based software development and consulting
Grogan previously was senior vice president and Chief Technology
Officer for JP Morgan Chase's retail banking operations where he was
responsible for all facets of technology management, including technical
infrastructure, application integration, and service delivery.
Prior to his role at JP Morgan Chase, Grogan was head of IT Service
Delivery at Time Warner Inc. There, he was responsible for IT operations,
technical architecture, and engineering for Time Warner's corporate and
global shared services. While at Time Warner, Grogan oversaw the
integration of AOL and Time Warner's financial and HR systems.
