NEW YORK, Feb. 11, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Infinite Spada today announces it has partnered with BuzzSumo, maker of content intelligence tools, to publish a new study, Attorneys vs. Accountants: Who is Winning the Content Battle?, comparing content strategies in the accounting and legal industries. The results of the study underscore the growing importance of social media and provide insights into what best works in the new media landscape.
Analyzing content on the websites of the 100 largest American law and accounting firms over a one-year period, the study measured how frequently content was shared on social media networks. The study also analyzed elements of the most frequently shared content, including the use of photos, infographics, video, co-produced content and original research.
The results of the report can be accessed at: www.contentsuccessstudy.com
"Given that an estimated 33 percent of all content is discovered through social media networks, content strategies must include an amplification plan," says Steven Andersen, Infinite Spada Vice President for Content and Client Strategy. "Without one, the content is confined to traditional channels and is much less likely to spread through relevant professional networks."
"Professional services firms expend millions of dollars in time spent creating and editing content," adds Infinite Spada Vice President Helen Bertelli, who co-authored the study with Infinite Spada President Jamie Diaferia. "The results provide a framework for evaluating content and ideas for optimal positioning; thus the data from this study is a tool that will help firms get the most out of their content investment," says Bertelli.
A webinar presenting the study findings will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 1 – 2 pm ET. Click here to register.
