Infusionsoft "Battle of the Apps" Finalists Revealed; Champion to be Named at InfusionCon 2013
CHANDLER, Ariz., March 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Infusionsoft, creator of the all-in-one sales and marketing software for small businesses, announces today the finalists for its first Battle of the Apps contest. Last spring, Infusionsoft launched this special challenge for its growing community of developers who create applications and plug-ins that enhance the Infusionsoft user experience. After reviewing 35 submissions, Infusionsoft selected four finalists to present their app, integration or plug-in on stage in front of 2,000 small businesses at the company's annual user conference, InfusionCon. The winner will take home the grand prize of $10,000.
"This time last year, we were launching the Infusionsoft Marketplace and here we are a year later with a growing ecosystem of more than 300 third-party apps, integrations, certified consultants and developers," says Infusionsoft chief technology officer Marc Chesley. "Selecting the four finalists was tough, as these developers stepped up in a big way to deliver innovative apps that help make our users even more successful with our software. We're all excited to see who our attendees will select as the winner."
The four finalists competing to become the first Infusionsoft Kick Apps Champion include:
- AppointmentCore, by Benji Rabhan of AutomationCore, which helps users automate their appointment and meeting scheduling processes.
- Maven Analytics, by Jarrod Morris of Marketing Mavens, which provides visual charts, graphs and reports to help users understand their sales and marketing processes.
- PlusThis, by Brad Martineau of Sixth Division, which helps users get API power without having to do any programming.
- Zapier, by Wade Foster of Zapier, which makes the API accessible to non-technical users, helping them connect Infusionsoft to more than 130 Web apps.
InfusionCon 2013 attendees will see a live demo and presentation from the finalists and then vote to determine who will win this year's grand prize of $10,000 plus a private consulting session with Infusionsoft's chief technology officer, Marc Chesley, chief product officer, Richard Tripp, and chief marketing officer, Greg Head. Applicants were judged on criteria that include benefit to the customer, application design, functionality and innovation.
