Ingram Park Mazda's Busy Lot Is Reflected In April Sales Numbers

SAN ANTONIO, Texas, May 2, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Ingram Park Mazda, a San Antonio Mazda dealership, has noticed an increase in foot traffic stopping down to our lot and we believe it's thanks to the new 2013 Mazda CX-5. Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) just broke with news that April presented a 4.2 percent increase over last year's April sales numbers. This may not come off as big news, but it is as Mazda's sales figures continue to climb thanks to the new CX-5 crossover vehicle. A total of 21,506 Mazda vehicles were sold over the month of April, which is the best April MNAO has reported dating back to 2008. Looking at the the sales numbers up to this point through 2012, MNAO is up 21.5 percent over last year with no signs of slowing down.

Taking a deeper look at the 2013 Mazda CX-5, which was voted as '2012 Crossover of the Year' by Autobytel not to mention named a 'Top Safety Pick' for 2012 courtesy of IIHS, the CX-5 ,in its second full month of sales, sold more than 3,500 units.
