Just recently, Nissan Motor Co.'s President & CEO, Carlos Ghosn met with Michael Bloomberg , New York City's Mayor, to officially introduce the new innovate and urban 'Taxi of Tomorrow.' Nissan held a special ceremony introducing the new NV200 before the festivities at the 2012 New York International Auto Show took place, just showing how important this new taxi is to the City of New York.

The selection process was a grueling one for all involved. It was a long process, two years approximately, and featured a very competitive bidding process throughout, not to mention numerous hours of cutting edge engineering and development from all entrants involved.

The 2012 New York International Auto Show will be running from April 6-15 and will be taking place at Manhattan's Jacob Javits Center.
