Internal Audit Director Joins Pike

MOUNT AIRY, N.C., May 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Pike Electric Corporation (NYSE: PIKE) one of the nation's leading energy solutions providers, is pleased to announce that James D. (Jim) Culbreth has joined the company as Internal Audit Director.

Culbreth comes to Pike with more than 17 years experience in internal audit, most recently from Grant Thornton, where he served as Manager, Business Advisory Services. In that role, he provided counsel for risk assessments, financial, operational and information systems audits, including Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance. Pike was one of Culbreth's clients, along with companies in telecom, banking and retail industries.
