The Plan: Provide an Apparatus that Introduces Artists' Music to Listeners

The solution is to deliver the music to the audiences. Currently, there is no Pandora like promotion engine that broadcasts music from aspiring artists. Musicians hoping to have their content heard must wait for people to stumble upon it on Myspace Music. Immitter imagined the possibility of aspiring artists being able to upload their original content onto a transmitter to be broadcasted according to specific parameters, just as Pandora does with music from labels.

For the first time, aspiring artists will have their content delivered on their behalf. This is a service that musicians will be willing to pay for because it connects their original content to its target audience, which is the first step toward making the transition from aspiring musician to professional artist. Immitter assists musicians in making that transition by helping listeners find music that is relevant to them.
