According to Gartner's report titled "Market Share: Content Management Software, Worldwide, 2006 - 2008," Interwoven grew ECM revenues in 2008 by 12.8%, which reflects a higher growth rate than its closest competitors.

Gartner included document management, web content management, records management, imaging, document-based collaboration, and workflow.
