It Girl Public Relations Signs Raz Entertainment and Producer/Actor Wali Razaqi

LOS ANGELES, June 25 /PRNewswire/ -- It Girl PR proudly announces its
newest talent acquisition, Raz Entertainment and producer/actor Wali
 Razaqi.
Raz Entertainment is best known for "SEPTEMBER TAPES" (2004), which The
Hollywood Reporter and Daily Variety named as one of the TOP 10 movies at
the Sundance and Cannes in 2004. The film is renowned for being the first,
and only, American movie to be shot in Afghanistan. First Look Studios
purchased the worldwide rights, and it was released theatrically by
 ThinkFilm.
2007 is a groundbreaking year for Raz Entertainment as it ventures into
television, with a new reality sports series, and a pilot involving
Ultimate Fighting Championship stars Rashad Evans, Nate Marquardt, and
Keith Jardine. The 2007 Raz project slate also includes a dramatic feature
film, "SAVING NAZGUL", scheduled to begin production in September, and two
fully financed feature films, currently in development.
Recently completed film projects include "YOUR NAME HERE" (2007) and
"CRUSH(ED)" (2007). YOUR NAME HERE stars Bill Pullman, Taryn Manning,
Harold Perrineau, Traci Lords and Ivana Milicevic, and is aiming for a 2008
Sundance Film Festival premiere. CRUSH(ED), a dark humored comedy written
by Paul Laubach, will have its premiere screening in LA June 30th.
Founder, Wali Razaqi grew up in Santa Cruz, California, having escaped
Soviet-occupied Afghanistan in 1979. Shortly after his 21st birthday in
2001, he created Raz Entertainment with the production of his first
feature, "IN THE WRONG HANDS" (2001); Razaqi has also pursued a successful
acting career, appearing in the upcoming "CHARLIE WILSON'S WAR" (2007) and
 "LIONS FOR LAMBS"(2007).
It Girl PR CEO Juliette Harris says of the acquisition, "Wali Razaqi is
a visionary producer focused on unique projects and I am excited to work
with such an innovative production house."
